Kyösti Haataja (19 February 1881 – 10 August 1956) was a twentieth century Finnish politician, born in Oulu. He was a member of the Parliament of Finland from 1916 to 1919 and again from 1929 to 1930. He was a member of the National Coalition Party and was the chairman of the party between 1926 and 1932 following Hugo Suolahti. Kyösti Kallio
Kyösti Kallio (, 10 April 1873 – 19 December 1940) was a Finnish politician who served as the fourth president of Finland from 1937 to 1940. His presidency included leading the country through the Winter War; while he relinquished the post of commander-in-chief to Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim, he played a role as a spiritual leader. After the war, he became both the first President of Finland to resign and the only one to die in office, dying of a heart attack while returning home after submitting his resignation. Kyösti Karhila
Kyösti Karhila (May 2, 1921 – September 16, 2009) was a Finnish World War II fighter ace with 32¼ victories. He was born in Rauma, Finland. He began flying in Lentolaivue 32 and flew later in LeLv 30, LeLv 32, LeLv 34 and LeLv 24. He scored 13¼ of his victories with P-36 Hawks and 19 with Bf 109s. Biography After the war broke out on the 30 November 1939, Karhila was drafted and posted to Kauhava Air Base for training. On completion of training he was then posted to LeLv 24 at Siikakangas, equipped with the Fokker D.XXI. He was then posted to LeLv 30 on 20 June 1941. In mid-July the unit was re-equipped with the Curtiss P-36 Hawk. Karhila's first air combat was on 31 July 1941, against two Soviet Air Force I-153's. Karhila transferred to LeLv 34 based at Utti in March 1943, flying the Bf 109G-2. Kyösti Lallukka (22 March 1944 – 9 October 2010) was a Finnish politician who headed Liberal People's Party between 1984 and 1990. Biography Lallukka was born in Enso on 22 March 1944. After graduating from Jyväskylä Lyceum he completed his military service and began his undergraduate studies in Tampere in 1965. He was a member of the Liberal People's Party and was elected as a member of the Parliament. He was the leader of the party between 1984 and 1990. Kyösti Eemil "Köpi" Lehtonen (13 March 1931 – 15 November 1987) was a lightweight Greco-Roman wrestler from Finland. He competed at the 1956, 1960 and 1964 Olympics and won a gold medal in 1956, placing fifth in 1960. Previously he won two silver medals at the world championships in 1953 and 1955. Domestically he won nine Finnish titles in 1952–57 and 1960–62. Lehtonen retired after the 1964 Olympics and coached the Norwegian (1964), Danish (1964) and Finnish national teams (1971–74). Later he was elected as a board member of the Finnish Wrestling Federation.
