Keralup is a suburb straddling the southern boundary of the metropolitan area of Perth, Western Australia, on the eastern side of the Kwinana Freeway, and consists entirely of a government strategic landholding. The suburb will ultimately contain 90,000 people, with the majority of development being on the eastern side of the Serpentine River. The City of Rockingham is a council and local government area, comprising the south coastal suburbs of the Western Australian capital city of Perth. History Rockingham is located in the southern part of the traditional tribal territory of the Whadjuk, who form part of the Noongar language group. The Shire of Murray is a local government area of Western Australia. It has an area of and is located in the Peel Region about south of the Perth central business district. The Shire extends across the Peel Inlet and the Swan Coastal Plain into the Darling Scarp, including about of State forests. Nambeelup is a small town and dormitory suburb of the city of Mandurah in the Peel Region of Western Australia. Named after Nambeelup Brook, it is of a predominantly rural land use although it is home to several residential and industrial subdivisions through the St Davids development which, due to the Peel Region's fast population growth, will eventually become a major industrial area of Mandurah.
