Nambeelup, Western Australia
Nambeelup is a small town and dormitory suburb of the city of Mandurah in the Peel Region of Western Australia. Named after Nambeelup Brook, it is of a predominantly rural land use although it is home to several residential and industrial subdivisions through the St Davids development which, due to the Peel Region's fast population growth, will eventually become a major industrial area of Mandurah. Murrayfield Airport, a local airport servicing Mandurah, is located here. It does not provide any passenger services due to Mandurah's proximity to Perth Airport. Nambeelup lies close to two major highways in WA (the Kwinana Freeway and South Western Highway) which can both be accessed via Lakes Road, which also links Nambeelup to Mandurah and North Dandalup North is one of the four compass points or cardinal directions. Kwinana Freeway
The Kwinana Freeway is a freeway in and beyond the southern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia, linking central Perth with Mandurah to the south. It is the central section of State Route 2, which continues north as Mitchell Freeway to Clarkson, and south as Forrest Highway towards Bunbury. A section between Canning and Leach highways is also part of National Route 1. Along its route are interchanges with several major roads, including Roe Highway and Mandjoogoordap Drive. North Dandalup is a small town in the Peel region of Western Australia along the South Western Highway between Serpentine and Pinjarra. Its local government area is the Shire of Murray.
