Kasper Jørgensen (born 9 February 1977) is a Danish former handballer and handball coach, who has previously played for Danish Handball League side GOG. He is the current Managing Director of GOG, and coach since 2023. GOG Håndbold
GOG is a professional handball club based in the small town of Gudme on Funen, Denmark. The club is one of the most successful in the history of Danish handball having won the Danish Handball Championship 9 times and the Danish Handball Cup a record 12 times. Currently GOG competes in the men's Danish Handball League. GOG is famous for their academy, which is one of the best in the world. The Herreligaen (men's league), formerly known as Herrehåndboldligaen (men's handball league), is the men's top Danish professional handball league. The winners of the Herreligaen are recognised as the Danish men's handball champions. The current champions are Aalborg Håndbold. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball, Olympic handball or indoor handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a Handball goalkeeper, goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the opposing team.
