Danish Handball Association () is the national governing body for handball in Denmark. It is based in Brøndby. History Danish Handball Association was founded on 2 June 1935. It is a member of the European Handball Federation and the International Handball Federation. Danish Handball Association is the third largest in the world, only surpassed by German Handball Association and French Handball Federation. Achievements Denmark is the country with the most success and medals in the sport of Handball. With a total of more than 100 overall medals it makes them the strongest Handball Federation in the World. World Men's Handball Championship
The IHF Men's Handball World Championship has been organized indoor by the International Handball Federation since 1938. In the twenty-nine tournaments held, twelve national teams have won the title. France is the most successful team with six titles, followed by Sweden, Denmark and Romania with four titles each. The current champion is Denmark, which won its fourth consecutive title at the 2025 tournament in Croatia, Denmark and Norway. History The first indoor championship took place in Germany in 1938, involving four teams from Europe made up of 7 players who competed in a round robin stage to find a winner. 2013 Men's Youth World Handball Championship
The 2013 IHF Men's Youth World Championship was the 5th edition of the tournament and was held at Hungary from 10 – 23 August 2013. The Oceania Continent Handball Federation withdrew from the tournament. Denmark men's national handball team, Denmark defeated Croatia men's national handball team, Croatia 32–26 in the final to win the title for the third consecutive time. 2007 Men's Junior World Handball Championship
The 2007 Men's Junior World Handball Championship was the 16th edition of the tournament and was held at Skopje and Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia, Macedonia from August 13–26, 2007. Venues Two Macedonian cities were selected as hosts for the Championship: Format For the preliminary round, 20 teams were allocated into 4 groups where the top 3 from each group advanced to the next round.
