Kainton, South Australia
Kainton is a small town in the Australian state of South Australia situated about 10 km south of Paskeville in the upper Yorke Peninsula. The Kainton school closed in 1907, but the "Hundred of Clinton School" was renamed "Kainton School" in 1915. Kainton is located within the federal Division of Grey, the state electoral district of Narungga and the local government area known as the Yorke Peninsula Council. Clinton Conservation Park
Clinton Conservation Park, formerly the Clinton National Park, is a protected area in the Australian state of South Australia located on the coastline at the north end of Gulf St Vincent. The conservation park consists of two parts with the first extending from Clinton, South Australia, Clinton on Yorke Peninsula on the west side of Gulf St Vincent to Port Wakefield, South Australia, Port Wakefield on the east side of the gulf and the second extending south of Port Wakefield to Sandy Point. The conservation park was originally proclaimed in 1970 as the ''Clinton National Park'' under the ''National Parks Act 1966'', was re-proclaimed under the ''National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972''. Narungga is a single-member Electoral districts of South Australia, electoral district for the South Australian House of Assembly. It was created by the redistribution of 2016, and was contested for the first time at the 2018 South Australian state election, 2018 state election. It is named for the Narungga people, who are the traditional owners of the lands in most of the electorate. It is one of two state districts named after South Australia's indigenous people (the other being the electoral district of Kaurna). Clinton (also known as Port Clinton) is a locality in the Australian state of South Australia located on the east coast of Yorke Peninsula overlooking the north west head of Gulf St Vincent about west of the state capital of Adelaide and about north-east of the municipal seat of Maitland.
