KK Radnički Novi Sad
Košarkaški klub FMP ( sr-Cyrl, Кошаркашки клуб ФMП), commonly referred to as KK FMP or as FMP Soccerbet due to sponsorship reasons, is a men's professional basketball club based in Belgrade, Serbia. The club plays in the ABA League, the Basketball League of Serbia, and the Basketball Champions League. Their home arena is the Železnik Hall. The club was founded in Novi Sad in 1970 as KK Radnički, and was later relocated to Belgrade. The club considers itself as the successor of the 'original' FMP. History The Radnički era (1970–2013) 1970–2009: Based in Novi Sad The club was formed in 1970 as KK Radnički from Novi Sad. The club had played in regional leagues until 2006, when new sponsors on board, Invest Inženjering and Park Hotel. ABA League
The ABA League, renamed the ABA League First Division in 2017, is the top-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia). Due to sponsorship reasons, the league was also known as the Goodyear League from 2001 to 2006, the NLB League from 2006 to 2011, and as the AdmiralBet ABA League from 2021. The league coexists alongside scaled-down national leagues in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia. All but one of Adriatic League clubs join their country's own competitions in late spring after the Adriatic League regular season and post-season have been completed. ABA League Top Prospect
The ABA League Top Prospect award, also known as the Adriatic League Top Prospect award, is an annual award given by the ABA League, Adriatic League (ABA League), which is a European regional league, that is the top-tier level professional basketball league for clubs from the Former Yugoslavia. The award is given to the league's best young player, aged 22 and under. The inaugural award was given out in the 2013–14 ABA League, 2013–14 ABA League season. Nikola Šaranović (basketball)
Nikola Šaranović ( sr-cyr, Никола Шарановић; born 20 August 2003) is a Serbian professional basketball player for FMP of the Basketball League of Serbia and the ABA League. Early life Šaranović grew up with the Crvena zvezda youth system. In December 2020, he recorded a triple-double in a 101–60 win over the Smederevo 1953 Junior team making 21 points, 10 rebounds, 14 steals, and 7 assists. Playing career In February 2021, head coach Dejan Radonjić added Šaranović to the Crvena zvezda mts roster for the 2021 Radivoj Korać Cup tournament in Novi Sad. Following a win over Mega Soccerbet in the Cup Finals, the Zvezda won its 10th National cup title while Šaranović won his first trophy. He never played a single game at the Cup tournament. Nikola Manojlović ( sr-cyr, Никола Манојловић; born 14 February 2002) is a Serbian professional basketball player who currently plays for KK Borac Čačak of the ABA League. Playing career Born in Novi Sad, Manojlović grew up in the Belgrade-based Crvena zvezda youth system. On 27 February 2020, Manojlović signed his first professional contract for Crvena zvezda mts. In September 2020, he was loaned to Tamiš for the 2020–21 BLS season. Prior to the 2021–22 season, Manojlović was added to the roster of Slodes. Afterwards, he was loaned to FMP on 28 December 2021. Danilo Tasić ( sr-cyr, Данило Тасић; born 15 June 1993) is a Serbian professional basketball player who currently plays for Cedevita Olimpija of the Slovenian Basketball League and the Adriatic League. Ognjen Kuzmić ( sr-Cyrl, Огњен Кузмић, ; born May 16, 1990) is a Serbian professional basketball player for KK FMP of the Adriatic League. Košarkaški klub Metalac ( sr-cyr, Кошаркашки клуб Металац), commonly referred to as KK Metalac, is a men's professional basketball club based in Valjevo, Serbia. They are currently competing in the Basketball League of Serbia. History Metalac was established on 24 March 1948 as KK Budućnost Valjevo. Six days later, the club played its first official game in Čačak against Borac and lost 69:19. In a relatively short period of time, they managed to qualify for a higher level of competition, entering the South Group of a then minor Serbian League under the new name Metalac in 1954.
