Järnhandelns Hus, Hedemora
Järnhandelns hus, also known as Gamla järnhandeln, is a building located in the block Orren in Hedemora, Dalarna County, Sweden. The building was erected 1905–1906 for ironmonger V. A. Grundin, after blueprints by Carl Johan Carlsson (Perne). The house has three floors and a basement. On the ground floor there were spaces for three stores and a further five rooms. On the two upper floors thirteen and eight rooms were located, and located around the house were a number of smaller spaces, such as bathrooms and porches. Many changes were made to the building, especially during the 1930s. In 1921 a vault was added in the premises of Lantmannabanken, designed by Perne. A water closet and a central heating system were installed 1930–1932. In 1920 AB Dalabönder moved into the house, and their business was succeeded by Hedemora järn in the 1960s. Eclecticism is a kind of mixed style in the fine arts: "the borrowing of a variety of styles from different sources and combining them" . Significantly, Eclecticism hardly ever constituted a specific style in art: it is characterized by the fact that it was not a particular style. Neoclassical Architecture
Neoclassical architecture, sometimes referred to as Classical Revival architecture, is an architectural style produced by the Neoclassicism, Neoclassical movement that began in the mid-18th century in Italy, France and Germany. It became one of the most prominent architectural styles in the Western world. Hedemora
Hedemora is a Urban areas in Sweden, town in Dalarna County and the seat of Hedemora Municipality, Sweden, with 7,273 inhabitants in 2010. Despite its small population, Hedemora is for historical reasons normally still referred to as a Stad (Sweden), ''city'', and as such the oldest in the county. Gamla (, the camel), also Gamala, was an ancient Jews, Jewish town on the Golan Heights. Believed to have been founded as a Seleucid fort during the Syrian Wars, it transitioned into a predominantly Jewish settlement that came under Hasmonean dynasty, Hasmonean rule in 81 BCE. The town's name reflects its location on a high, elongated ridge with steep slopes resembling a camel's hump. Gamla served as a key rebel stronghold during the First Jewish–Roman War, Great Jewish Revolt against Roman Empire, Rome. In the summer of 67 CE, after an extended siege and battle, Roman forces under Vespasian ultimately captured the town and massacred its inhabitants.
