Julián Hernández Santillán
Julián Hernández Santillán (born 6 April 1963 in Nuevo León) is a Mexican politician affiliated with the National Action Party (PAN). In the 2000 general election he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies to represent Nuevo León's 8th district during the 58th session of Congress. General elections were held in Mexico on Sunday, 2 July 2000. Voters went to the polls to elect a new president to serve a single six-year term, replacing President Ernesto Zedillo Ponce de León, who was ineligible for re-election under the 1917 Constitution. 8th Federal Electoral District Of Nuevo León
The 8th federal electoral district of Nuevo León () is one of the 300 electoral districts into which Mexico is divided for elections to the federal Chamber of Deputies and one of 14 such districts in the state of Nuevo León. It elects one deputy to the lower house of Congress for each three-year legislative session by means of the first-past-the-post system. Votes cast in the district also count towards the calculation of proportional representation ("plurinominal") deputies elected from the second region.
