Juan López Moctezuma (1929 – August 2, 1995) was a Mexicans, Mexican film director and actor. He was born in Mexico City in 1929. During his career he directed five films, all in the genres of supernatural horror and Thriller (genre), suspense: ''The Mansion of Madness'' (1973), ''Mary, Mary, Bloody Mary'' (1975), ''To Kill a Stranger'' (1984), ''El Alimento del Miedo'' (1994), and his most recognized and controversial work, ''Alucarda'' (1977), which tells the story of a satanic possession in a Catholic convent. In 1993 he was admitted to a psychiatric hospital in Mexico City because of Alzheimer's disease. He died on August 2, 1995. Juan Guillermo López Soto (February 10, 1947 – September 8, 2021) was a Mexican Roman Catholic prelate. Biography He served as the Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cuauhtémoc-Madera, based in Chihuahua state, for 26 years from November 1995, until his death in September 2021. On August 30, 2021, the Diocese of Cuauhtémoc-Madera announced that López Soto had tested positive for COVID-19. He was admitted to Hospital Ángeles, a private hospital in the city of Chihuahua for treatment. López also suffered from several pre-existing cardiac conditions, including three heart surgeries in September 2018 for an obstructed artery, followed by a heart attack days after the operations. Juan López Mella
Juan Manuel López Mella (12 April 1965 – 10 May 1995) was a Spanish professional motorcycle racer at Grand Prix motorcycle racing, Grand Prix and Superbike World Championship, Superbike levels. After coming second in the national championships in 1985, he entered international competitions for the first time in 1987. He was the first person from Galicia (Spain), Galicia to enter the competition. He came third in the 1991 Spanish Superbike race at Circuito del Jarama, Jarama, the first person from Spain to gain a podium position in the competition, and was named Spanish Superbike champion in both 1991 and 1992, becoming the highest placed private rider overall in 1993. In 1995, he started riding in the Thunderbike tournament but was killed in a road accident early in the season. Lugo, his city of birth, has named a park that teaches road safety in his honour and hosts a museum in his memory. Juan Manuel López Rivera (born June 30, 1983), often known as Juanma Lopez, is a Puerto Rican former professional boxer who competed from 2005 to 2019. He is a world champion in two weight classes, having held the WBO junior featherweight title from 2008 to 2009, and the WBO featherweight title from 2010 to 2011. As an amateur he represented Puerto Rico at numerous international tournaments, including the 2002 Central American and Caribbean Games, the 2003 Pan American Games, and the 2004 Olympics. Juan Antonio López (June 15, 1952, in Culiacán, Sinaloa – June 29, 2004, in Culiacán) was a Mexican professional boxer who competed from 1971 to 1992. López was best known for fighting Wilfredo Gómez twice for the WBC Super Bantamweight title, losing by a knockout in seven rounds the first time, and by a knockout in ten rounds the second time. Most importantly, he is credited with introducing Julio César Chávez to the sport. He retired in 1992 with a 66-19 record (46 KO’s), and trained other fighters from his native Culiacán. In January 2003, it was learned that López had leukemia. He died on June 29, 2004.
