Vladimir Jovović ( sr-cyr, Владимир Јововић, ; born 26 October 1994) is a Montenegrin professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Uzbekistan Super League club Neftchi. Club career Sutjeska Jovović made his professional debut with Sutjeska Nikšić in 2011 at the age of 17. He was one of the youngest starting players in Sutjeska's championship-winning generation of the 2012–13 season. In the 2013–14 UEFA Champions League qualifying phase, he recorded an assist in the match against Sheriff Tiraspol in Tiraspol. In June 2013, Partizan sent its sporting director Albert Nađ to scout Jovović. On 26 January 2015, it was announced that several Premier League teams were interested in signing Jovović, especially Aston Villa. Blagoje Jovović ( sr-cyrl, Благоје Јововић; 1922 – 2 June 1999) was a Serb soldier and resistance-fighter, who was a participant of World War II in Yugoslavia initially as a member of the Partisan and later the Chetnik movement. Croatian Ustaše leader Ante Pavelić died from the injuries sustained from an assassination attempt carried out by Jovović in Argentina. Biography Jovović was born in Kosić near Danilovgrad in today's Montenegro. During World War II, he initially fought for the Yugoslav Partisans and then the Chetniks, as a member of the Bjelopavlić Chetnik brigade. Nebojša Jovović (, born 28 August 1974) is a Montenegrin professional football manager and former player who played as a striker. He is currently the manager of Kuwaiti club Kuwait SC. Playing career Born in Titograd, after starting at youth team of local Crvena Stijena, Jovović signed with FK Budućnost Podgorica in 1988. He played 10 years in total at Budućnost. Igor Jovović ( sr-Cyrl, Игор Јововић, ; born 16 October 1982) is a Montenegrin professional basketball coach who is head coach for Mitteldeutscher BC of the German Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). Coaching career Jovović got his first job in coaching career as an assistant coach to Dejan Radonjić at Budućnost Podgorica, in 2007. In 2013 he was appointed as head coach of Budućnost. With Budućnost, he won two Montenegrin League titles and managed to play two Adriatic League semifinals in both the 2013–14 and 2014–15 seasons. He resigned from Budućnost on 26 November 2015. Mirjana Jovovic-Horvat (October 2, 1949 – November 5, 2021) was a sport shooter from Bosnia and Herzegovina. She represented Yugoslavia at the 1984 Summer Olympics and Bosnia and Herzegovina at the 1992 Summer Olympics. Throughout her career, she was a member of JSD Partizan, and is the most decorated female athlete in the club's history. She won 67 medals at international competitions in both individual and team categories, and won over 400 medals in her home country. She joined the Yugoslav national team in 1969, winning silver and bronze medals in that year's European championships. She, alongside Desanka Pešut and Magdalena Herold, was a member of the team that won the 1970 world championships in both air rifle and rifle prone.
