José Eulogio Gárate
José Eulogio Gárate Ormaechea (born 20 September 1944) is a former professional association football, footballer who played as a striker (association football), striker for SD Eibar, SD Indautxu and Atlético Madrid. Born in Argentina, he played for the Spain men's national football team, Spain national team at international level. Club career Gárate was born to Basque people, Basque parents in Argentina and grew up in Eibar, Spain. He began his career with SD Eibar in 1960 before joining SD Indautxu in 1963. Just like two earlier Indautxu players, Chus Pereda and Miguel Jones, he was controversially overlooked by Athletic Bilbao and like Jones he eventually joined Atlético Madrid. Along with Luis Aragonés, Adelardo Rodríguez, Adelardo, Javier Irureta, Enrique Collar, and José Ufarte, Ufarte, he was a prominent member of the successful Atlético side of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Sarandí, Buenos Aires
Sarandí () is a city in the Avellaneda Partido of the urban agglomeration of Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is located to the south of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. The city has an area of and a population of 60,752 inhabitants (INDEC, 2001); the second most populated locality in the ''partido'' after Avellaneda, with 18.5% of the partido's population. The main economical activity in the area is the production of leather goods. Javier Irureta
Javier Iruretagoyena Amiano (born 1 April 1948), Irureta for short, is a Spanish retired football attacking midfielder and manager. He had a distinguished playing career with Atlético Madrid and Athletic Bilbao, playing in 344 La Liga games for both teams combined and scoring 70 goals. Irureta managed several Spanish top flight clubs, most notably Deportivo. He was the only person to have coached both the two major Galician (Deportivo and Celta Vigo) and Basque (Athletic and Real Sociedad) sides. Playing career Atlético Madrid Irureta was born in Irun, Gipuzkoa, making his senior debut for local Real Unión in 1965.
