Joshua Mansour (Arabic: جوش منصور; born 17 June 1990) is a former professional rugby league footballer who played as a er. He represented Lebanon national rugby league team, Lebanon and Australia national rugby league team, Australia at international level. He previously played for the Penrith Panthers and the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the National Rugby League, and for Newtown Jets in the NSW Cup. At representative level he played for the Prime Minister's XIII, City New South Wales rugby league team, NSW City Origin and New South Wales rugby league team, New South Wales in the State of Origin series. The NSW Cup, currently known as the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup for sponsorship reasons, is a rugby league competition for clubs in New South Wales. The competition has a history dating back to the NSWRFL's origins in 1908, starting off as a reserve grade competition, and is now the premier open age competition in the state. The New South Wales Cup, along with the Queensland Cup, acts as a feeder competition to the National Rugby League premiership. The competition is the oldest continuous rugby league competition in Australia. The NSW Cup is contested by reserve squads of NSW-based NRL teams and also includes sides representing teams that once competed at the first grade level in the NSWRL Premiership but no longer field teams in the NRL competition, and teams that have not fielded teams in the NRL competition. Junior Kangaroos
The Junior Kangaroos side represents Australia in the sport of rugby league. They are commonly known as the Junior Kangaroos, after the native marsupial of that name. Since 2019, they are an under-23 side, with players selected from the NRL. They are administered by the Australian Rugby League Commission. The 2009 Rugby League European Cup, known as the rugbyleague.com European Cup due to sponsorship, was a rugby league football tournament. The revamped Rugby League European Cup 2009 involved six teams competing in two groups of three. Participating teams were: Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Serbia, Lebanon and Italy. National Youth Competition (rugby League)
The NRL Under-20s (known commercially as the Holden Cup due to sponsorship from Holden) was the top league of professional rugby league for players aged 20 years or younger in Australasia. Contested by sixteen teams, the Under-20s competition commenced in 2008 and was originally known as the Toyota Cup. The competition runs parallel to Australasia's professional competition, the National Rugby League, with NYC matches played immediately prior to the NRL games. Similar to the NRL, the NYC enforces a salary cap and puts a heavy focus on life outside football for the players. North Sydney Bears
The North Sydney Bears are an Australian rugby league football club based in Cammeray on Sydney's North Shore (Sydney), North Shore. The club currently competes in the NSW Cup, having exited the National Rugby League following the 1999 NRL season after 90 years in the premier rugby league competition in Australia. At the end of the 1999 season, the club merged with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles to form the Northern Eagles which only lasted two years and the license was reverted to the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles leaving the Bears without top flight representation. However, in April 2025, a deal to be based in Perth as the Perth Bears was confirmed coming into effect from 2027, thus gaining North Sydney representation in First Grade rugby league for the first time since 2001.
