''Jesus não Tem Dentes no País dos Banguelas'' (Portuguese language, Portuguese for "Jesus Has no Teeth in the Land of the Toothless") is the fourth studio album by Brazilian rock music, rock band Titãs, released on November 23, 1987. Like its predecessor ''Cabeça Dinossauro'', it was produced by Liminha (musician), Liminha and featured electronic music experimentations and funk rock influences, besides tackling social issues in its lyrics. Its recording took place at Nas Nuvens studio in Rio de Janeiro and lasted for little more than two months. It was promoted at the Hollywood Rock#1988, 1988 Hollywood Rock, which boosted the band's popularity. Titãs
Titãs (, Portuguese for Titans) are a Brazilian Rock music, rock band from São Paulo. Though they primarily are classified as a rock band, the band have also experimented with genres such as New wave music, new wave, punk rock, ska, grunge, Música Popular Brasileira, MPB and electronic music. They are one of the most successful rock bands in Brazil, having sold more than 6.3 million albums as of 2005 and having been covered by several well-known Brazilian artists and a couple of international singers. Sérgio de Britto Álvares Affonso (; born September 18, 1959), known as Sérgio Britto, is a Brazilian musician. He is a member of the rock band Titãs, for which he contributes lead vocals, keyboards and, more recently, bass guitar. He has also released three solo albums. Biography Childhood Sérgio Britto is the only carioca of the group, but left Rio de Janeiro when he was a baby. He lived with his siblings Rui and Gláucia in Brasília when in 1964 the military took over Brazil.
