Jeremía Alexandre Recoba Perrone (born 8 October 2003) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Las Palmas. Born in Italy, he is a dual citizen with Uruguay. Early life Recoba was born in Como, Italy. His father, Álvaro Recoba, was a long-term Uruguay international footballer who spent most of his career in Italy, primarily with Inter Milan. His mother is Lorena Perrone, who is of Italian descent. His half-brother Julio Recoba is also a footballer. While the most common spelling of the name Jeremiah in Spanish is ''Jeremías'', Recoba's father wrote the name incorrectly on his birth certificate. Julio César Recoba Serena (born 3 April 1997) is a Uruguayan professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Career Recoba started his senior career with amateur side Basáñez. In January 2019, he was signed by Uruguayan Primera División club Fénix. He made his professional debut on 20 August 2020 in a 2–2 draw against Cerro. Rampla Juniors Fútbol Club, commonly known as Rampla Juniors, is a Uruguayan football club based in Montevideo. The team was actively playing the 2021 season by January 2021. The Estadio Gran Parque Central is the stadium of Club Nacional de Football. It is located in Montevideo, Uruguay, near Nacional headquarters (exactly between the streets Carlos Anaya, Jaime Cibils, General Urquiza and Comandante Braga), in the La Blanqueada neighbourhood. Due to various factors, it is considered a historical stadium. Built in 1900, it is the oldest current stadium in America and the fifteenth in the world. The CONMEBOL Libertadores, also known as Copa Libertadores de América (), is an annual continental club football competition organized by CONMEBOL since 1960. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game.
