Jamie Foxx
Eric Marlon Bishop (born December 13, 1967), known professionally as Jamie Foxx, is an American actor, comedian, and singer. Known for his work in both the screen and music industries, his accolades include an Academy Award, a Grammy Award, a British Academy Film Award, and a Golden Globe Award. Foxx's breakthrough was in the early 1990s as a featured player in the sketch comedy show '' In Living Color'' (19911994). Following this success, he co-created, produced and starred in his own titular sitcom, '' The Jamie Foxx Show'' (19962001). After a series of successful early film roles, Foxx received acclaim and dual Academy Award nominations for his performances in the biopic '' Ray'' and the crime thriller '' Collateral'' (both 2004); the only black actor to do so. James Patrick Fox (October 30, 1954 – February 20, 2017) was an American politician and political strategist. He twice served as New Jersey Department of Transportation, New Jersey Commissioner of Transportation and also worked for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ). Biography Fox was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and grew up in Union Township, Union County, New Jersey. ''Collateral'' is a 2004 American neo-noir action thriller film directed and produced by Michael Mann, written by Stuart Beattie, and starring Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx. The supporting cast includes Jada Pinkett Smith, Mark Ruffalo, Peter Berg, Javier Bardem, and Bruce McGill. The film follows Max Durocher (Foxx), a Los Angeles cab driver, and his customer, Vincent (Cruise).
