Jagdeep
Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jaffrey (19 March 1939 – 8 July 2020), better known by his stage name Jagdeep, was an Indian actor and comedian who appeared in more than 400 films. He played Soorma Bhopali in ''Sholay'' (1975), Machchar in '' Purana Mandir'' (1983), Salman Khan's dad in '' Andaz Apna Apna'' (1994) and directed the film '' Soorma Bhopali'', with his character as the protagonist. Jagdeep started his film career as a child artist extra in B. R. Chopra's '' Afsana'', then went on to do films as a child artist in films like ''Ab Dilli Door Nahin'', K. A. Abbas's '' Munna'', Guru Dutt's ''Aar Paar'', Bimal Roy's '' Do Bigha Zamin'' and AVM's '' Hum Panchhi Ek Daal Ke''. He was launched as a leading man by AVM in the films '' Bhabhi'', '' Barkha'' and '' Bindiya'', and went on to do a few more films as a leading man. Soorma Bhopali
''Soorma Bhopali'' is a 1988 Indian Hindi-language drama film produced by Naved and directed by Jagdeep, who previously played ''Soorma Bhopali'' in the film ''Sholay''. Plot Soorma Bhopali is the owner of a Timber mart. He wants to distribute all his wealth to humanity. His trust and innocence are taken advantage of by the people. Dilwar Khan Dilwala, who happens to be the identical step brother of Soorma, keeps staking his claim on half of Soorma's inheritance. Soorma inherited a priceless necklace which, according to his mother, he will have to give to his bride. To get the necklace from Soorma, a group of smugglers sends a stage dancer, Sitara, to Bhopal to trap Soorma. Javed Jaffrey
Syed Jaaved Ahmed Jaffrey (born 4 December 1963) is an Indian actor, dancer, and comedian who has appeared in Hindi films and television shows. He is the son of the comedian Jagdeep. He joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in March, 2014 and contested the 2014 Indian general election from the Lucknow constituency, finishing fifth. Personal life Jaffrey is the son of comedian Jagdeep. He was born on 4 December 1963 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India (present-day Mumbai). He married in 1991 and has two sons and a daughter, including Meezaan. Meezaan Jafri
Meezaan Jafri (born Syed Meezaan Ahmed Jaffrey; 9 March 1995) is an Indian actor who works in Hindi films. The son of actor Jaaved Jaaferi and grandson of comedian Jagdeep, he made his acting debut in ''Malaal'' (2019), which earned him critical praise for his performance. ''Sholay'' (, ) is a 1975 Indian epic action-adventure film directed by Ramesh Sippy, produced by his father G. P. Sippy, and written by Salim–Javed. The film is about two criminals, Veeru (Dharmendra) and Jai (Amitabh Bachchan), hired by a retired police officer ( Sanjeev Kumar) to capture the ruthless dacoit Gabbar Singh ( Amjad Khan). ''Munna'' also called ''The Lost Child'' is a 1954 Hindi social drama film produced and directed by K. A. Abbas for the Naya Sansar banner. The story was written by Abbas with photography by Ramchandra. The music director was Anil Biswas though there were no songs in the film. Master Romi played Munna and the actor Jagdeep appeared as a child artist in the film.
