Jacques Léonard
Jacques Léonard (; born December 2, 1936) is a Canadian accountant, educator, and politician in the province of Quebec. He served in the National Assembly of Quebec from 1976 to 1985 and again from 1989 to 2001 and was a cabinet minister in the governments of René Lévesque, Jacques Parizeau, and Lucien Bouchard. Léonard is a Quebec sovereigntist and a member of the Parti Québécois (PQ) and Bloc Québécois (BQ). Early life and career Léonard was born in Saint-Jovite, in the Laurentides region of Quebec. He received a diploma in accountancy in 1959 and a master's degree in commercial sciences from the Université Laval in 1962. After working for two years in the Montreal firm of Clarkson and Gordon, he continued his studies in Paris, France, from 1964 to 1966. Jacques Brassard
Jacques Brassard (born June 12, 1940 in Alma, Quebec) is a former Quebec politician and Cabinet Minister. He was the National Assembly of Quebec for Lac-Saint-Jean from 1976 to 2002 and occupied several portfolios as a Minister under the Parti Québecois governments of René Lévesque, Pierre-Marc Johnson, Jacques Parizeau, Lucien Bouchard and Bernard Landry. Brassard conducted his university studies at Université de Montréal and Université de Sherbrooke and obtained a degree in pedagogy. After teaching at a local school board, he was a history teacher for nine years at Collège d'Alma before his entry to provincial politics in 1976. Sylvain Pagé (born January 9, 1961) is a Canadian businessman and politician. Pagé is the current Member of National Assembly of Quebec for the riding of Labelle in the Laurentians, elected in 2001. He is a member of the Parti Québécois. Born in Mont-Laurier, Quebec, Pagé received a certificate in business management at HEC Montréal in 1980. Damien Hétu
Damien Hétu (October 24, 1926 – February 15, 2010) was a Canadian politician. Hétu served as mayor of Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec on two separate occasions and was a Liberal member of the National Assembly of Quebec from 1985 to 1989. Early life and career Hétu was born in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts and received his early education in the town. He trained as an electrician and radio/television technician, and in 1952 he began working as an electrician and entrepreneur in his home community. Roger Lapointe (born September 10, 1940) is a Canadian politician in the province of Quebec. He was a Liberal member of the National Assembly of Quebec from 1973 to 1976 and has been the mayor of Mont-Saint-Michel since 1997. Early life and career Lapointe was born in Ferme-Neuve, Quebec. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree (1961) and a teaching degree (1962) from the Université Laval, and in 1971 he earned a degree in educational administration from the Université de Montréal.
