Håvard Bentdal Ingvaldsen
Håvard Bentdal Ingvaldsen (born 21 September 2002) is a Norwegian track and field athlete. He has won multiple national championship titles over 200 metres and 400 metres. In 2023, he became the European U23 champion over 400m and took the Norwegian national 400m record from Karsten Warholm. Career At the 2021 European Athletics U20 Championships in Tallinn, he ran a new personal best time of 46.70 seconds in the final of the 400 metres to win a bronze medal. Later that summer, still aged 18 years-old, he recorded a national U20 record time of 45.95s as he won the 400m Norwegian Championships. He also ran the 400 meters during the 2022 European Athletics Championships in August 2022, in Munich but overall his 2022 season was hampered by injuries. The European Athletics U20 Championships (formerly named the European Athletics Junior Championships up to 2015) are the European championships for athletes who are under-20 athletes, which is the age range recognised by World Athletics as junior athletes. The men's 400 metres at the 2024 Summer Olympics was held in four rounds at the Stade de France in Paris, France, between 4-7 August 2024. 2023 World Athletics Championships
The 2023 World Athletics Championships (), the nineteenth edition of the World Athletics Championships, were held from 19 to 27 August 2023 at the National Athletics Centre (Budapest), National Athletics Centre, in Budapest, Hungary. The Diamond League is an annual series of elite track and field athletic competitions comprising fifteen invitational athletics meetings. The series sits in the top tier of the World Athletics one-day meet competitions. The inaugural season was in 2010. It was designed to replace the IAAF Golden League, which had been held annually since 1998.
