Hårlev is a railway town with a population of 2,905 (1 January 2025) in Stevns Municipality on the southeastern part of the Denmark, Danish island of Zealand about 12 kilometres south of Køge. Overview Hårlev was located in the former :da:Bjæverskov Herred, Bjæverskov Hundred (county division), Hundred (Danish: "Herred") Until 1 January 2007 Hårlev was the municipal seat of the former Vallø, Vallø Municipality. Geography In spite of being a part of Stevns Municipality Hårlev is not geographical located on the Stevns Peninsula. The town is located just west of the so-called Tryggevælde River Valley (Danish: ''Tryggevælde Ådal'') which marks the northern half of the boundary between the peninsula and the rest of Zealand. Actually it is not a real valley but a wide natural deepening along the banks of Tryggevælde River (''Tryggevælde Å''). Faxe Ladeplads
Faxe Ladeplads or Fakse Ladeplads is a coastal town in Denmark with a population of 2,501 (1 January 2025), located in Zealand and lying 5 kilometers south-east from Faxe. It is mainly a harbour town, with a working harbour and a marina. The town is surrounded by forest and sandy beaches with shallow water. The forest stretches all the way to the sea, and from the edge one can see the island of Møn and the small protected wildlife park, Feddet. History The town was originally called Hylleholt. The current name comes from a time in the 19th century when the countship of Vemmetofte decided to build a harbour to service the limestone industry up in the neighboring Faxe town. Rødvig Harbour is a combined marina and fishing harbour. It is the second largest active fishing harbour on Zealand. ''Rødvig Flint oven'' stands at the harbour, as a landmark for Rødvig. It is a 3.5 meter tall square building, with a 5 meter high chimney brick on top. The current oven is a replica of a flint oven build in 1870 for production of flint floure used for fajance.

Østbanen (Denmark)
The East Line () is a local railway line in the eastern part of Zealand, Denmark. The railway started operations on 1 July 1879. It is today part of Lokaltog, a railway company operating nine local railways on the islands of Zealand, Lolland and Falster. Since December 2020, trains have run every 30 minutes between Roskilde station, Roskilde and Faxe Ladeplads via Køge station, Køge and Hårlev. Tryggevælde Runestone
Tryggevælde Runestone, designated as DR 230 under Rundata, is a runestone housed in the National Museum of Denmark, in Copenhagen. It is classified as being carved in runestone style RAK, and is dated to about 900 CE. Description In 1555, the runestone was moved from a barrow to the Tryggevælde estate on Zealand. It came to Copenhagen in 1810. There are several holes on the runestone, but no one knows why. Ragnhild, who raised the runestone, also had Glavendrup stone (DR 209) made after another husband named Alle. That runestone is located at a barrow and a stone ship in Glavendrup on the island of Funen. Both the Glavendrup and Tryggevælde runestones were made by the same runemaster, Sote.
