Czech ( ; ), historically known as Bohemian ( ; ), is a West Slavic language of the Czech–Slovak group, written in Latin script. Spoken by over 12 million people including second language speakers, it serves as the official language of the Czech Republic. Hynek Bílek (born 25 December 1981 in Olomouc) is a Czech former ice dancer. With partner Lucie Kadlčáková representing the Czech Republic, he placed as high as 10th at the World Junior Championships and won three ISU Junior Grand Prix medals. Hynek Bočan (born 29 April 1938) is a Czechs, Czech film director and screenwriter. His major works include the TV series ''The Land Gone Wild'' and the fairy tale film ''Give the Devil His Due''. He has received several awards for his lifetime contribution to Czech cinematography. Life Hynek Bočan was born on 29 April 1938 in Prague. He grew up in the Libeň district of Prague. His father, a lawyer, died when he was twelve. In 1953, he got a small role in Jiří Sequens' film ''Olověný chléb''. This experience showed him that he did not want to be an actor, but wanted to succeed in film as a director or cinematographer. Hynek Kmoníček (born 22 October 1962) is a Czech diplomat and the current Czech Ambassador to Vietnam. Previously, Kmoníček served as foreign policy advisor of the President Miloš Zeman, and held ambassadorial posts including Czech Permanent representative to the United Nations in New York and subsequently as Ambassador to India, Australia, and the United States. Early life and education Kmoníček was born in Pardubice, then Czechoslovakia, in 1962. He graduated from the University of South Bohemia with a master's degree in classical guitar and pedagogy, and later earned degrees in English language studies and Classical Arabic studies from Charles University. Hynek Krušina of Lichtenburg (also: ''Henry Kruschina of Lichtenburg'', in ; 1392 – 4 March 1454, Kłodzko (, )) was a knight, Hussite commander and governor and lien holders of the County of Kladsko, the Duchy of Münsterberg and the city of Ząbkowice Śląskie (). Origin, family and possessions Hynek Krušina was a member of the Lichtenburg family, which in turn was a branch of the powerful Ronov dynasty. His father was John Krušina of Lichtenburg, who was a Royal Colonel and Chamberlain and Burgrave of the Duchy of Jawor. After his father died, Hynek was influenced by Čeněk of Wartenberg. Čeněk probably persuaded Hynek to participate in the Bohemian Diet of 1415, where he protested against the condemnation of Jan Hus at the Council of Constance.
