Hynek Bočan
Hynek Bočan (born 29 April 1938) is a Czechs, Czech film director and screenwriter. His major works include the TV series ''The Land Gone Wild'' and the fairy tale film ''Give the Devil His Due''. He has received several awards for his lifetime contribution to Czech cinematography. Life Hynek Bočan was born on 29 April 1938 in Prague. He grew up in the Libeň district of Prague. His father, a lawyer, died when he was twelve. In 1953, he got a small role in Jiří Sequens' film ''Olověný chléb''. This experience showed him that he did not want to be an actor, but wanted to succeed in film as a director or cinematographer. In 1956, he started to study film directing at Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. At a casting for his first film in 1965, he met his wife Jana, with whom he remained his entire life. They have a son, Jan. Rychlé šípy
Rychlé šípy ("The Rapid Arrows") is the name of a fictional club of five boys by the Czech people, Czech writer Jaroslav Foglar. Consisting of Mirek Dušín, Jarka Metelka, Jindra Hojer, Červenáček ("Red Cap"), Rychlonožka ("Speedy") and a dog named Bublina ("Bubble"). Rychlé šípy is a well-known and critically-acclaimed series, though its popularity lies mainly with older generations. The name Mirek Dušín is used by Czechs as a humorous nickname for someone who is notably noble, honest and hard-working. It became the most popular series in the history of Czech comics. Literature Rychlé šípy was originally a comics, comic series issued from 1938 to 1989, with stand-stills enforced by the Communist regime of Czechoslovakia. Honour and Glory (foaled March 24, 1993 in Kentucky – July 17, 2018) was an American Thoroughbred racehorse who won important races during his career. He was bred by William T. Young's Overbrook Farm and purchased by British businessman and prominent racehorse owner, Michael Tabor. The Mannheim-Heidelberg International Film Festival (), often referred to by the German-language initialism IFFMH, is an annual film festival established in 1952 hosted jointly by the cities of Mannheim and Heidelberg in Baden-Württemberg, the southwest region of Germany. Czech Radio
Czech Radio (, ČRo) is the public radio broadcaster of the Czech Republic operating continuously since 1923. It is the oldest national radio broadcaster in continental Europe and the second-oldest in Europe after the BBC.
