Hussein Zein
Hussein Ali Zein (, ; born 27 January 1995) is a Lebanese footballer who plays as a right-back for club Safa and the Lebanon national team. Club career On 2 August 2024, Zein moved to Safa. International career Zein played for the national under-19 team between 2013 and 2014. He also represented the under-23 team between 2015 and 2017, playing six times. Zein made his debut for the senior team on 5 February 2016, in a 2–0 defeat against Bahrain in a friendly game. He also participated at the 2019 WAFF Championship in Iraq. In December 2023, Zein was included in the Lebanese squad for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup. Al Ahed Football Club () is a football club based in Ouzai, a district in Beirut, Lebanon, that competes in the Lebanese Premier League, the top flight of Lebanese football. The club was founded in 1964 as Al Ahed Al Jadeed, initially starting in the Third Division before reaching the Premier League for the first time in 1996. Nicknamed "the Yellow Castle" (), Ahed have won one AFC Cup title, nine Premier League titles, six FA Cup titles, two Federation Cup titles, eight Super Cup titles, and six Elite Cup titles. Lebanese Super Cup
The Lebanese Super Cup () is Lebanese football's annual match contested between the champions of the previous Lebanese Premier League season and the holders of the Lebanese FA Cup. If the Lebanese Premier League champions also won the Lebanese FA Cup then the league runners-up provide the opposition. The fixture is recognized as a competitive super cup by the Lebanese Football Association and the Asian Football Confederation. 2021 Lebanese Elite Cup
The 2021 Lebanese Elite Cup was the 23rd edition of the Lebanese Elite Cup. The competition included the six best teams from the 2020–21 Lebanese Premier League season. The first matchday was played on 12 July, one day before the start of the 2021 Lebanese Challenge Cup. Shabab Sahel, the defending champions, lost to Ahed in the semi-finals. Nejmeh were crowned champions for the 12th time, after defeating Ahed in the final after penalty shoot-outs. The Lebanese Elite Cup () was a Lebanese football annual cup competition contested by the top six teams of the previous Lebanese Premier League season. Founded in 1996 as the Super League Cup, the first edition was played by the top five finishers of the league and the Lebanese FA Cup winners. The 2018–19 Lebanese FA Cup was the 47th edition of the national football cup competition of Lebanon. It started with the First Round on 12 October 2018 and concluded with the final on 25 May 2019. Defending champions Ahed beat Ansar in the final to win their second consecutive Lebanese FA Cup, their sixth in total. The winner qualified for the 2020 AFC Cup play-off round; however, as Ahed also won the Lebanese Premier League, the AFC Cup spot went to second-placed Ansar. The Lebanon Cup (), commonly known as the Lebanese FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in domestic Lebanese football. In the first FA Cup final, held on 26 June 1938, Nahda beat Hilmi-Sport 3–2 in the replay (after drawing 1–1 the first match).
