Huautla is a small town in the Mexican state of Morelos, in the municipality of Tlaquiltenango. Revolutionary General Gildardo Magaña Cerda (1891-1939) was proclaimed successor of Emiliano Zapata to the leadership of the Liberation Army of the South near this town on 1919-09-0 In 2005, the population of Huautla was 852. Balsas River
The Balsas River (Spanish Río Balsas, also locally known as the Mezcala River, or Atoyac River) is a major river of south-central Mexico. The basin flows through the states of Guerrero, México, Morelos, and Puebla. Downstream of Ciudad Altamirano, Guerrero, it forms the border between Guerrero and Michoacán. Morelos, officially the Free and Sovereign State of Morelos, is a landlocked state located in south-central Mexico.
