Homorod (Dumbrăvița)
The Homorod or Ciucaș is a left tributary of the river Olt (river), Olt in Romania. It discharges into the Olt in Feldioara. e-calauza.ro Its length is and its basin size is . Near the village of Hălchiu, Satu Nou, the river divides into two branches, the main branch keeping the name of Homorod, while the secondary branch is named ''Homorodul Vechi''. The two branches rejoin upstream of Feldioara. Dumbrăvița, Brașov
Dumbrăvița (until 1960 ''Țânțari''; ; ) is a commune in Brașov County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Dumbrăvița and Vlădeni (''Wladein''; ''Vledény''). The commune is located in the central part of the county, north of Codlea and from the county seat, Brașov, in the western part of the Burzenland region. It is surrounded by the Perșani Mountains, with the Măgura Codlei Peak at to the south. Just to the east is the Dumbrăvița Lake, with a surface area of . This is the only place in Transylvania and one of the few places in Romania where the grey heron nests in reeds. Dumbrăvița is bordered to the north by Crizbav commune, to the east by Hălchiu commune, to the south by the city of Codlea, and to the west by the Șinca and Părău communes. Hălchiu (; ) is a commune in Brașov County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Hălchiu and Satu Nou (''Neudorf bei Hopfenseifen''; ''Barcaújfalu''). The commune is located in the east-central part of the county, in the northern part of the Burzenland historical region. It lies north of the county seat, Brașov, and belongs to the Brașov metropolitan area. To the west is Dumbrăvița Lake, with a surface area of . Feldioara (, ; or ''Barcaföldvár'') is a commune in Brașov County, Transylvania, Romania, about north of the city of Brașov. It is composed of three villages: Colonia Reconstrucția (''Bohntelep''), Feldioara, and Rotbav (''Rothbach''; ''Szászveresmart''). Geography The commune is located in the east-central part of the county, in the northern reaches of the Burzenland.
