Henágio
Henágio Figueiredo dos Santos (10 December 1961 – 26 October 2015), simply known as Henágio, was a Brazilian professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Initially a 400m athlete, Henágio received an invitation from CS Sergipe to take a test and join football. So a reserve player in the first years of his career, he gained prominence in 1982, where he was state champion and highlighted. He was hired by Santa Cruz FC in 1983 and was again successful in winning the Pernambuco state championship. He played for Flamengo, champion of the 1987 Copa União, in addition to being part of the last squad of EC Pinheiros, and the first of Paraná Clube. He ended his career in 1994, but returned in 1999 to play for Cori-Sabbá in the city of Floriano. Santa Cruz Futebol Clube is a Brazilian professional football club based in Recife, Pernambuco, that competes in the Série D, the fourth tier of Brazilian football, and in the Campeonato Pernambucano, the top flight of the Pernambuco state football league. History Early history On 3 February 1914, eleven young men aging from 14 to 16 years founded a football society. Because the boys used to play football on the streets by the yard of the ''Santa Cruz'' Church, the club was named after that church, which is situated on Santa Cruz Street in Recife. At the first meeting, they decided the position of each member, the name of the club "Santa Cruz Foot-Ball Club", and the society's colors. The original colors were black and white. Taça Guanabara
The Taça Guanabara ( English: Guanabara Cup) is an annual football tournament attached to the Campeonato Carioca, the state football league in the Rio de Janeiro state. It has been organized since 1965 by the Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation. It has had different formats throughout its history. In its first seven editions (1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970 and 1971), the Taça Guanabara was a tournament in its own right, unrelated to the Campeonato Carioca, and the winner would represent Rio de Janeiro in the Taça Brasil national league competition. From 1972 onward, the cup became the first round of the Campeonato Carioca. Since 2021, the Taça Guanarabara is the first single round-robin phase of the Campeonato Carioca.
