Heiter Bis Tödlich
''Heiter bis tödlich'' is a crime series first broadcast on 25 October 2011 by German television network Das Erste. It is made up of several different shows, which all share a common brand and theme. The lineup of these different shows was inspired by a long-term success of the show ''Großstadtrevier ''Großstadtrevier'' (roughly ''(Big) City Police Station'') is a German television series, broadcast on Germany's Das Erste of the ARD. Initially ARD (parent company of Das Erste) had planned additional series to be based in other large cities, however it was later decided to also include smaller regions and the humorous side of their quirks. Crime Film
Crime film is a film belonging to the crime fiction genre. Films of this genre generally involve various aspects of crime and fiction. Stylistically, the genre may overlap and combine with many other genres, such as Drama (film and television), drama or gangster film, but also include Comedy film, comedy, and, in turn, is divided into many sub-genres, such as Mystery film, mystery, suspense or Film noir, noir. Screenwriter and scholar Eric R. Williams identified crime film as one of eleven super-genres in his Screenwriters Taxonomy, claiming that all feature-length narrative films can be classified by these super-genres. The other ten super-genres are action, fantasy, horror, romance, science fiction, slice of life, sports, thriller, war and western. Williams identifies drama in a broader category called "film type", mystery and suspense as "macro-genres", and film noir as a "screenwriter's pathway" explaining that these categories are additive rather than exclusionary. Das Erste (; "The First") is the flagship national television channel of the ARD (broadcaster), ARD association of public broadcasting corporations in Germany. ARD (broadcaster)
ARD is a joint organisation of Germany's regional Public broadcasting, public-service broadcasters. It was founded in 1950 in West Germany to represent the common interests of the new, decentralised, post-war broadcasting services—in particular the introduction of a joint television network. ARD has a budget of €6.9 billion, 22,612 employees and is the largest public broadcaster network in the world. The budget comes primarily from a mandatory licence fee which every household, company and public institution, regardless of television ownership, is required by law to pay. For an ordinary household the fee is €18.36 per month, as of 2023. Households living on Welfare in Germany, welfare are exempt from the fee. Morden is a district and town in South London, England, now within the London Borough of Merton, in the ceremonial county of Greater London.
