Harold Radford
Harold Radford & Co. Limited was a British retailer specialising in Rolls-Royce car, Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars. Situated in Melton Court, South Kensington, London SW7, opposite South Kensington tube station, the company, under G. Harold Radford, developed a bespoke Coachbuilder, coach-building business in the late 1940s named Harold Radford (Coachbuilders) Limited. The business initially focused on crafting bodies for new Bentleys tailored to the rural lifestyle of the landed gentry. During the Swinging Sixties, Radford gained recognition for its luxury versions of the Cult Car, cult-car Mini. South Kensington is a London Underground station in the district of South Kensington, south west London. It is served by three lines: Circle, District and Piccadilly. A coachbuilder manufactures bodies for passenger-carrying vehicles. The trade of producing coachwork began with bodies for horse-drawn vehicles. Today it includes custom automobiles, buses, Coach (bus), motor coaches, and passenger car (rail), railway carriages. The word "coach" was derived from the Hungarian town of Kocs. The landed gentry, or the gentry (sometimes collectively known as the squirearchy), is a largely historical Irish and British social class of landowners who could live entirely from rental income, or at least had a country estate. A cult following is a group of fans who are highly dedicated to a person, idea, object, movement, or work, often an artist, in particular a performing artist, or an artwork in some medium. Anthony Richard Anstead (born 28 March 1979) is an English television presenter, motor specialist, car builder, designer, and artist, best known for co-presenting the Channel 4 automotive show '' For the Love of Cars'' with Philip Glenister. From 2017-2021, Anstead replaced Edd China as co-host of the show '' Wheeler Dealers'', (S.14 -16) alongside Mike Brewer, during the filming and production at their US base.
