Halid Bešlić
Halid Bešlić (; born 20 November 1953) is a Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnian folk music, folk singer and musician who has been performing professionally since 1979. Bešlić's singing career was one of the most successful in SFR Yugoslavia, Yugoslavia, and continues today throughout the entire Balkans, Balkan region. Early life Bešlić was born in the Knežina, Sokolac, Knežina village near Sokolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina, while it was part of Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia, FPR Yugoslavia. His father Mujo Bešlić, a military man, died on 1 April 2016 at the age of 83 in a Sarajevo hospital. Halid, who was on tour in the United States at the time, managed to arrive to the funeral held in a village by Olovo, where Mujo had lived since the start of the Bosnian War in 1992. Halid Beg Cibran
Miralay Halid Beg Cibran (; 1882 – 14 April 1925) was a Ottoman - Kurdish soldier in the Ottoman Army and chairman of the Azadî organization. Early life and education He was born in Varto in the Bitlis vilayet in 1882. His father Mahmud Bey was the chieftain (''ağa'') of the Sunni Kurdish Cibran tribe. The Cibran was an influential Kurmanji speaking Kurdish tribe and used to work closely with the Ottoman government. In exchange the Cibrans were allowed to set up regiments for the Hamidiye cavalry. Halid Beg has attended the Aşiret (tribal) school in Istanbul. Afterwards he has followed up on his studies at the Ottoman Military College. Halid Genjac
Halid Genjac (born 8 March 1958) is a Bosnian politician and former physician who served as the 2nd Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2000 to 2001. He is the current general secretary of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA). Genjac has been a member of the SDA since its foundation in 1990. Halil Hâlid (1869 – 1931) was a Turkish writer, diplomat, academic and a member of the Ottoman Parliament. He was a teacher at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom and the University of Istanbul in Turkey. Early life and education Halil Hâlid was born in 1869 in Ankara into a religious family in a village near the coast of the Black Sea. He attended high school in Ankara and then moved to Istanbul where he studied for while in a Medrese beside the Beyazit Mosque. Emin Halid Onat (December 20, 1908 – July 17, 1961) was a Turkish architect and former rector of Istanbul Technical University. Onat was born in Istanbul in 1908. He entered Istanbul Technical University in 1926. Then, he was sent to Zurich Technical University. Onat was one of the architects of Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Halid Ziya Uşaklıgil (also spelled Halit and Uşakizâde) (; 1866 – 27 March 1945) was a Turkish author, poet, and playwright.
