HK 32 Liptovský Mikuláš is a professional ice hockey team in the Tipsport Liga (hockey), Slovak Extraliga, top hockey tier in Slovakia. Their home town is Liptovský Mikuláš in Slovakia. The team plays their home games at Liptovský Mikuláš Ice Stadium. History The club was founded in 1932. Mikuláš won the 1. SNHL first time in the 1972, but they won this league two more times in the 1974 and 1989. In the 2017–18 Slovak Extraliga season, 2017–18 season did not qualify for the playoffs. Liptovský Mikuláš (; until 1952 ''Liptovský Svätý Mikuláš'', ; ) is a town in northern Slovakia, on the Váh River, about from Bratislava. Marek Uram (born September 8, 1974) is a Slovak ice hockey player, currently playing for MHk 32 Liptovský Mikuláš. Uram started his hockey career in his hometown Liptovský Mikuláš, where he played for the local club HK 32. In the 1999/00 season he got traded to the Czech Extraliga, he ended up in the team HC Znojmo along fellow Slovak center Peter Pucher. During his career in Znojmo he was of the team's best scorers. In a disappointing 2005/06 season Uram got traded to HC Vítkovice. After the end of that season he signed a contract with HC Slovan Bratislava and won two Slovak Extraliga titles there. Karol Križan
Karol Križan (born June 5, 1980 in Žilina, Czechoslovakia, now Slovakia) is a professional Slovak professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for HKM Rimavská Sobota in the Slovak 2. Liga. Career Križan played three and a half seasons with Modo Hockey of the Swedish Elitserien between September 2005 and December 2008. In the play of Modo against Timrå IK he scored a goal and recorded a shutout at the same time. He also led Modo to the Swedish Championship in 2007 with the help of his backup Michal Zajkowski. Martin Cibák (born 17 May 1980) is a Slovak former professional ice hockey player. Biography Cibák was born in Liptovský Mikuláš, Czechoslovakia. As a youth, he played in the 1994 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a team from Poprad. Callan Hayden Foote (born December 13, 1998) is an American-born Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who plays for MHk 32 Liptovský Mikuláš of the Slovak Extraliga.
