Yekta Güngör Özden
Yekta Güngör Özden (born 1932) is a Turkish people, Turkish judge, and former president of the Constitutional Court of Turkey. He was born in Niksar, a town in Tokat Province, Tokat province of Turkey, in 1932. He was the president of the Constitutional Court of Turkey, from 8 May 1991 until 8 May 1995, and from 23 May 1995 until 1 January 1998, when he retired. He also was the head of "''Atatürkçü Düşünce Derneği''" (ADD), a leading Turkish non-governmental organization, that has organized Republic Protests, a peaceful mass rally of more than 300,000 people, in Ankara, on 14–15 April 2007. Recently, he was implicated in the Ergenekon (organization), Ergenekon scandal, for allegedly being a CIA . Aslı Güngör (; born 27 September 1979) is a Turkish pop singer and songwriter. She became a professional singer when she was discovered by the "TRT İzmir Gençlik Korosu" talent show while studying at Dokuz Eylül University. She featured in DMC's "Pop Music Project" with Enbe Orkestrası with the songs "İzmir Bilir Ya" and "Kalp Kalbe Karşı". On 22 January 2009, she published her first full album which carries her own name. The first music video from this album was "Son Öpücük" which became a hit song. The second clip is "Dön Gel Yeter" which was released on Valentine's Day, 2009. Her second album is ''Aşk Alev Aldı'' released in 2010 through Sony Music. Buse Güngör (born October 2, 1994) is a Turkish women's football attacking midfielder currently playing in the Women's First League for Kireçburnu Spor with jersey number 20. She is a member of the Turkey women's national U-19 team. Playing career Club Buse Güngör obtained her license on June 10, 2008. She played three seasons for Gölcükspor in her hometown, the last season in the First League. She capped 45 times and scored 16 goals with Gölcükspor. Erol Güngör (Born Nov. 25 1938 in Kırşehir- Died 1983) was a Turkish social psychologist and writer. His work focused on the socially derived nature of language, morality, and values. Güngör wrote extensively on nationalism and culture at a time when Turkey was attempting to develop a national democratic identity. However, after meeting his mentor Mumtaz Tarhan, Güngör switched to psychology. Hasan Güngör (5 July 1934 – 13 October 2011) was a middleweight Turkish wrestler and a wrestling coach. He won a gold medal at the 1960 Olympics and a silver medal at the 1964 Olympics,as well as multiple medals at the World, European and Balkan championships. Michael Gungor (born September 14, 1980) also known as Vishnu Dass, is an American singer-songwriter, producer, music editor, author, and podcast host.
