Gunilla Lindberg
Gunilla Lindberg (born 6 May 1947) is a Swedish sports official and member of the International Olympic Committee. Lindberg took up a position in the offices of the Swedish Olympic Committee (SOC) in 1969, and was appointed SOC's Secretary-General in 1989. She was elected to the board of the European Olympic Committees in 1993, and was elected a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in 1996. In 2000, she was elected to the board of the IOC, and from 2004 to 2008 she was one of four Vice Presidents of the IOC. In 2011, she returned to the IOC Executive Board. Gunilla Katarina Backman (born 18 June 1965) is a Swedish singer, actress, and musical artist. Early life and career Backman comes from a musical family and studied classical ballet from 1972 until 1982 at Kungliga Teaterns balettskola and at the Balettakademien, Statens dansskola and Cullbergbaletten. She attended Adolf Fredrik's Music School and studied song at the age of seventeen, when she debuted in the role of Liesl in the musical ''Sound of Music'' at Folkan. ''Snow White and the Madness of Truth'' () was a 2004 item of installation art by Sweden, Swedish, Israeli-born composer and musician Dror Feiler and his Swedish wife, artist Gunilla Sköld-Feiler. Feiler and Sköld-Feiler created the visuals and the music for the artwork together, which was installed in the Swedish History Museum in Stockholm, Sweden. The installation consisted of a long pool of water coloured blood red, upon which floated a small white boat named "Snövit" ("Snow White") carrying a smiling portrait of Hanadi Jaradat, a Palestinian suicide bomber who killed 21 Jewish and Arab Israelis, and injured 51 more. A text was written on the walls, and the sound of Johann Sebastian Bach, Bach's ''Mein Herze schwimmt im Blut'' (Cantata 199) played in the background. Gunilla Süssmann (born 22 June 1977 in Bergen, is a Norwegian classical pianist. Career Having played the piano since the age of six, Süssmann graduated from the Norwegian Academy of Music in 2002, and got her soloist diploma from the Music Academy in Hanover in 2003. Gunilla Knutsson (14 November 1940 – 3 February 2025) was a Swedish actress, model, author and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Sweden 1961 and was a semi-finalist in the Miss Universe 1961 pageant. Life and career Knutsson is most famous for a series of Noxzema medicated shaving cream commercials from 1967 to 1973, in which she urged men to "take it off, take it all off" (referring to facial hair). During 1973, she appeared with Joe Namath in such a commercial when he was the star quarterback for the New York Jets American football team.
