Guilda was the stage name of Jean Guida (June 21, 1924 – June 27, 2012), a French and Canadian drag queen who built a long and sustained career as a cabaret and variety entertainer. André Forcier
André Forcier (born Marc-André Forcier on July 19, 1947) is a Canadian film director and screenwriter. His work has been linked to Latin American magic realism by its use of fantasy but is firmly rooted in Quebec's reality. His unromanticized, even Rabelaisian, portraits of people on the fringe of society, especially in ''Bar Salon'', ''Au clair de la lune'', ''Une Historie inventée'', ''Le Vent du Wyoming'' and ''The Countess of Baton Rouge'', blend observations of minutia of everyday life with elements of fantasy and imaginary. ''Bye Bye'' is a Quebecois sketch comedy special, broadcast annually by Ici Radio-Canada Télé on New Year's Eve. The yearly program features sketches satirizing the past year's events, followed by a countdown to the next year itself. Originally beginning in 1968, ''Bye Bye '98'' was the final edition of its first run, until the show was revived by the comedy troupe Rock et Belles Oreilles, who produced the 2006 and 2007 editions of the show. In 2008, it was announced that Véronique Cloutier and Louis Morissette would take over the program for its 2008 edition. Denis Héroux
Denis Héroux, (; 15 July 1940 – 10 December 2015) was a Canadian film director and producer. Biography Born in Montreal, Quebec, he was the older brother of prolific Quebec film and television producer Claude Héroux. Héroux wanted to become a teacher when he collaborated with Denys Arcand and Stéphane Venne on the 1962 film about life as a student, ''Alone or with Others (Seul ou avec d’autres)''. That year he went on to become a teacher and for the next six years, in addition to teaching, he also wrote two history books and continued to direct.
