Gonzalo Higuaín
Gonzalo Gerardo Higuaín (; born 10 December 1987) is a former professional footballer who played as a striker. Nicknamed ''El Pipita'' or ''Pipa,'' he is considered to be one of the best strikers of his generation and was a prolific striker known for his eye for goal, strong physique, offensive movements and predatory finishing. He won six European league titles across La Liga and Serie A. Higuaín started his career with Argentine club River Plate, before a transfer to Real Madrid in January 2007. His time in Spain saw him win three La Liga titles and becoming one of the best strikers in Europe. He joined Italian side Napoli for €40 million in 2013, where he won the Coppa Italia in his first season. The Copa América Centenario (, , ; literally ''Centennial America Cup'') was an international men's soccer tournament that was hosted by the United States in 2016. The competition was a celebration of the centennial of CONMEBOL and the Copa América, and was the first Copa América hosted outside South America.
