Giz Watson
Elizabeth Mary "Giz" Watson (born 18 January 1957) is an English-born Australian politician and a former leader of The Greens, Western Australia. She served as a member of the Western Australian Legislative Council for the North Metropolitan Region from 22 May 1997 until her retirement on 21 May 2013. Biography Watson was born in 1957 in Eastleigh, a town in Hampshire, England, and emigrated to Western Australia in September 1967, travelling extensively through the state. She studied environmental science at Murdoch University and, after leaving university to do voluntary work for a couple of years, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1980. Watson was involved in protests in Western Australia against the Vietnam War in the early 1970s. She also became involved in 1979 in the first forest blockades at Wagerup against clear felling of jarrah forests for bauxite mining. Bülent Giz
Bülent Giz (born 1925) was a Turkish football player and later manager who played for Galatasaray; and managed PTT Gençlik and Mersin İdmanyurdu in the 1960s and 1970s. After finishing his football career, he became a sport journalist. He watched the 1958 World Cup as a journalist and saw the Brazilian national football team's football. After turning to Turkey he decided to be a football manager and became the first practitioner of Brazilian football style in Turkey. Manager career His first manager experience was started in Yeşildirek (an Istanbul amateur team which was supported by taxi drivers in European side of the city) as assistant manager. Mustafa Sadık Giz (1911 – 1979) was a Turkish politician and former chairman of the Turkish sports club Galatasaray. Biography Giz was born in Söke, Aydın, in 1911. He was a close relative of political leader and former Turkish prime minister Adnan Menderes. Giz was a cofounder of the Democratic Party in 1946. He was elected three times as member of national parliament from Democratic Party as deputy of İzmir. In 1957 he was elected as Galatasaray President until 1959.
