Hatvan
Hatvan ( German: ''Hottwan)'' is a town in Heves County, Hungary. Hatvan is the Hungarian word for "sixty". It is the county's third most populous town following Eger and Gyöngyös. Etymology Hatvan is the Hungarian word for "sixty". It is a common urban legend that the town got this name because it is 60 km from Budapest, but in fact the name is already mentioned in medieval sources, many years before the kilometre existed; also, the actual distance between the capital and the town is closer to 50 km. Rather, the town's name likely derives from the Pecheneg root word "''chatwan''" or "''chatman''", meaning "small-tribe" or "splinter-group". The 2009–10 Nemzeti Bajnokság I, also known as NB I, was the 108th season of top-tier football in Hungary. The league was officially named ''Soproni Liga'' for sponsorship reasons. The season began on 24 July 2009 and ended on 23 May 2010. Debrecen were the defending champions, and they defended their title. Promotion and relegation from 2008–09 Siófok and Rákospalota finished the season in the last two places and thus were relegated to their respective NB II divisions. Siófok ended a two-year stint in Hungary's highest football league while Rákospalota were relegated after four years. The 2019–20 Nemzeti Bajnokság II (also known as 2019–20 Merkantil Bank Liga) is Hungary's 69th season of the Nemzeti Bajnokság II, the second tier of the Hungarian football league system. On 29 July 2019, it was announced that Balmazújváros did not receive license from the Hungarian Football Federation. On 29 August 2019 it was confirmed that Balmazújváros's license was suspended. Therefore, the 2019-20 Nemzeti Bajnokság would continue with 19 teams only. On 4 May 2020 season was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the Groupama Aréna (Ferencvárosi TC, FTC) the goal-line technology was used. Videoton FC, Videoton won the league for the second time, under Joan Carillo, finishing 7 points above Ferencváros.
