Fereej Al Manaseer ( ar, فريج المناصير) is a district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Al Rayyan. In the 2015 census, it was listed as a district of Zone 55 which has a population of 283,675 and also includes Bu Sidra, Al Aziziya, Al Waab, Fereej Al Soudan, Muaither, Al Mearad, New Fereej Al Ghanim, Fereej Al Murra and Al Sailiya. Geography It borders Bu Sidra to the south, Al Aziziya to the east, Baaya to the north and Muaither to the north and west. Transport Currently, the underground Al Manaseer Metro Station is under construction. Muaither
Muaither ( ar, معيذر) is a district of Al Rayyan City in Qatar, located in the municipality of Al Rayyan. Etymology Referencing the area's geography, 'muaither' is derived from the Arabic 'mathar', meaning "place where animals are kept". Muaither is situated in a rawda (depression), meaning that water runoff accumulates in it, leading to increased plant activity. Various perennials such as the samr tree and fennel grow here. As such, the area serves as a good grazing area for Bedouins rearing their livestock. Al Sailiya
Al Sailiya ( ar, السيلية, As Saylīyah) is a district of Al Rayyan City in Qatar, located in the municipality of Al Rayyan. Etymology The word "sailiya" is derived from the Arabic term "sayl", which translates as "to flow". It gained this name from the fact that part of the district is situated in a rawda which acts as a floodplain. History J.G. Al Mearad ( ar, المعراض, Al Mi‘rāḑ) is a district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Al Rayyan. Fereej Al Soudan ( ar, فريج السودان) is a district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Al Rayyan. It is mainly a residential area. In the 2015 census, it was listed as a district of Zone 55 which has a population of 283,675 and also includes Bu Sidra, Al Aziziya, Al Waab, New Fereej Al Ghanim, Muaither, Al Mearad, Fereej Al Manaseer, Fereej Al Murra and Al Sailiya. Al Waab ( ar, الوعب, Al Wa‘b) is a district situated between the municipalities of Doha and Al Rayyan in Qatar. The district has witnessed tremendous growth beginning in the mid-1990s, resulting in the construction of numerous residential compounds to house expatriates, villas, and commercial and medical developments. It is a district of Al Rayyan City, which, in turn, is a part of Metropolitan Doha.
