Förvaltningsaktiebolaget Stattum, a Swedish government holding company that can be characterized as a National Wealth Fund. It was set up in 1991, to manage the listed shareholdings of the Swedish government, following the dismantling of Fortia AB and Statsföretag. A sovereign wealth fund (SWF), or sovereign investment fund, is a state-owned investment fund that invests in real and financial assets such as stocks, bonds, real estate, precious metals, or in alternative investments such as private equity funds or hedge funds. Pharmacia was a pharmaceutical and biotechnological company in Sweden that merged with the American pharmaceutical company Upjohn in 1995. History Pharmacia company was founded in 1911 in Stockholm, Sweden by pharmacist Gustav Felix Grönfeldt at the ''Elgen'' Pharmacy.
