Frode Jacobsen (born 5 August 1968) is a Norwegian politician. He was elected deputy representative to the Storting from the constituency of Oslo Oslo ( or ; ) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. Arvid Jacobsen (11 October 1938 – 25 June 2014) was a Norwegian newspaper editor. He spent most of his career in the Labour press, as journalist in ''Arbeiderbladet'' from 1967 to 1977, editor-in-chief in A-pressens Oslo-redaksjon from 1977 to 1990 and editor-in-chief of ''Arbeiderbladet'' from 1991 to 1994. From 1994 to 2003 he was the director of information in the Norwegian Bar Association The Norwegian Bar Association () is an association of Norwegian lawyers. The Storting ( ; ) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. Oslo (constituency)
Oslo is one of the 19 multi-member constituencies of the Storting, the national legislature of Norway. The constituency was established as Kristiania in 1921 following the introduction of proportional representation for elections to the Storting. It was renamed Oslo from 1925. It is conterminous with the county of Oslo. The constituency currently elects 19 of the 169 members of the Storting using the open party-list proportional representation electoral system. Jonas Gahr Støre
Jonas Gahr Støre (; born 25 August 1960) is a Norwegian politician who has served as the prime minister of Norway since 2021. He has been Leader of the Labour Party since 2014. He served under Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2005 to 2012 and as Minister of Health and Care Services from 2012 to 2013. Støre has been a member of the Storting for Oslo since 2009. Støre was born in Oslo, grew up in West End Oslo and underwent naval officer training at the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy. He studied political science at Sciences Po in Paris from 1981 to 1985 and international relations at the London School of Economics.
