Frestelse
''Frestelse'' (Temptation) is a Swedish black-and-white drama film from 1940. It was directed by Arne Bornebusch. The screenplay was written by Torsten Lundqvist and Bornebusch. Production and release The film was shot in 1939 at Europa Studio in Sundbyberg, Stockholm, and Norway. The film was released as ''Ingeborg Lien'' in Norway and as ''Suurkaupungin leikkikalu'' (Big City Plaything) in Finland. Plot The young Norwegian fisherman's daughter Ingeborg Lien, who lives in a remote fishing village, dreams of success and the big city. She gets there and wins a beauty pageant. Ingeborg is attended to by two men, who have no other purpose than to enjoy her as a young and charming mistress for a while. When Ingeborg realizes this, she turns to a newly acquired female friend. During a police raid in a sinister gambling den, she manages to escape and is rescued by the taxi driver and engineering student Gustav Lind. Arne Folke Harald Bornebusch (December 10, 1905 – October 13, 1973) was a Swedish film director and screenwriter. Personal life Bornebusch was born in Hjortsberga, Sweden. He married Annika Backelin, with whom he had a son, Lars Peder Gustaf Rudolf. Bornebusch died in Stockholm in 1973. Aagot Børseth
Aagot Børseth (29 November 1898 – 19 December 1993) was a Norwegian actress. Biography Aagot Tangen was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway. She made her debut at Rogaland Teater in Stavanger during 1918 as Grete in ''Faddergaven'' by Peter Egge (1869-1959). Later she came to Chat Noir, where she noted herself as the street girl Gusti in ''Flammen''. She came to the Nationaltheatret in 1928 and performed there for 40 years. She made her film debut in ''Felix'' (1921) and participated in numerous Norwegian films including ''Frestelse'' (1940) and ''Selkvinnen'' (1953). She was also a widely used actor on Radioteatret and on television. She was married to Henrik Børseth (1885–1970), who was also an actor at the Nationaltheatret. She died in 1993 and was buried at Vestre gravlund in Oslo. Viran Rydkvist
Anna Elvira Oscaria Rydkvist (1 December 1879 – 10 July 1942) was a Swedish actress and theatre director. Born and brought up in Stockholm, she made her acting debut in 1897 at the Arena theatre. During her career, she appeared in numerous stage performances as well as 29 film productions. In 1915, she co-founded the in Gothenburg. Between 1922 and 1935, she ran the Lilla teatern, becoming one of the first women to run a theatre in Sweden. Life Viran Rydkvist was born on 1 December 1879 in Stockholm, Sweden. Tryggve Larssen
Tryggve Larssen (October 3, 1887 – June 28, 1967) was a Norwegian actor. Larssen debuted as an actor in Ludovica Levy's touring theatre in 1911, after which he was engaged with the National Theater in Bergen and the Norwegian Theater in Oslo. He was then engaged with the National Theater in Oslo from 1921 to 1961. As an actor specializing in comic roles, Larssen made a name for himself in annual Christmas performances, including as the first-ever Santa Claus in the play '' Reisen til Julestjernen'' (Journey to the Christmas Star) in 1924. He also played supporting roles in numerous plays by Ludvig Holberg, Henrik Ibsen, and William Shakespeare.
