Fenerbahçe Basketball, commonly referred as Fenerbahçe () or Fenerbahce Istanbul in European matches, currently also known as Fenerbahçe Beko for sponsorship reasons, are a professional basketball team and the men's basketball department of Fenerbahçe S.K., a major Turkey, Turkish sports club, multi-sport club based in Kadıköy, Istanbul, Turkey. They are one of the most successful clubs in Turkish basketball history, being the first Turkish team to have won the (2 times) EuroLeague, as well as 15 Turkish championships (12 titles in the Basketball Super League, Turkish Basketball Super League and 3 in the former Turkish Basketball Championship), 9 Turkish Basketball Cup, Turkish Cups, and 7 Turkish Basketball Presidential Cup, Turkish Presidential Cups, among others. Basketbol Süper Ligi
The Basketball Super League (; TBSL), also known as the Türkiye Sigorta Basketbol Süper Ligi for sponsorship reasons, is the top men's professional basketball division of the Turkish basketball league system. It replaced the former Turkish Basketball Championship (1946–1967) to become the Turkish Basketball League (TBL) until 2015 when it adopted its current name while the TBL name became exclusive to the Turkish Basketball First League, second-tier and Turkish Basketball Second League, third-tier divisions. The BSL is administered by the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) and is contested by 16 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams promotion and relegation, relegated to the second-tier TBL and replaced by the top two teams of that division. The EuroLeague Final Four is the final four format championship of the European-wide top-tier level EuroLeague professional club basketball competition. The Euroleague Basketball Company used the final four format for the first time in 2002, following the 2001 FIBA SuproLeague Final Four, which was the last final four held by FIBA Europe. The 2016 Euroleague Final was played between CSKA Moscow and Fenerbahçe at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany. The Turkish Basketball Federation () is the national federation for basketball in Turkey. It is headquartered in Istanbul. They organize the Basketball Super League, Women's Basketball Super League the Turkish Basketball Cup and the Turkish Basketball Presidential Cup.
