2024–25 EuroLeague
The 2024–25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague was the 25th season of the modern era of the EuroLeague, and the 15th under the title sponsorship of Turkish Airlines. Including the competition's previous incarnation as the FIBA Europe Champions Cup, this is the 68th season of the premier basketball competition for European men's clubs. The season began on 3 October 2024 and ended on 25 May 2025 with the Final Four. The Final Four will be held at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, which marks the first time in European basketball history that the game is played outside of the continent. For the fourth straight season, CSKA Moscow had their EuroLeague license rescinded following the Russian invasion of Ukraine. EuroLeague
The EuroLeague is a European men's professional basketball club competition. The league is widely recognised as the top-tier and the most prestigious men's basketball league in Europe. The league consists of 20 teams, of which 16 are given long-term licences and wild cards, making the league a semi-closed league. The league was first organized by FIBA in 1958, subsequently by ULEB in 2000 and then solely by Euroleague Basketball. The competition was introduced in 1958 as the FIBA European Champions Cup (renamed the FIBA EuroLeague in 1996), which operated under FIBA's umbrella until Euroleague Basketball was created for the 2000–01 season. The 2025–26 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague is the 26th season of the modern era of the EuroLeague, and the 16th under the title Sponsor (commercial), sponsorship of Turkish Airlines. Including the competition's previous incarnation as the FIBA Europe Champions Cup, this is the 69th season of the premier basketball competition for European men's clubs.
