FC PoPa
Porin Palloilijat or formerly FC PoPa is a Finland, Finnish football (soccer), football club, based in the city of Pori in Finland. The club currently plays in the Vitonen, the seventh highest level of Finnish football league system, Finnish football. The club was established in 1925 but did not operate between 1960 and 1981. History Porin Palloilijat is the oldest team sports club in Pori being over 85 years old. Bror Weckström had the original idea of forming a new team in Pori and on 16 April 1925 the first meeting of PoPa was held in the café at Pori Theatre. It was decided to form a team called Porin Palloilijat and to make football (soccer), football and bandy their main focus. The first Committee members were Erkki Laitinen, J. Kari, Bror Weckström, O. Porin Stadion
Pori Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium in Pori, Finland. It is currently used primarily for Association football, football and stadium is the home of FC Jazz. It is also the former home ground of FC PoPa and Musan Salama. Pori Stadium is located at Isomäki sports center some two kilometres south of the city. Stadium is sometimes nicknamed as the ''Stadium of Eternal Wind'' due to windy conditions that are common on the stadium and its surroundings. Porin Kärpät (Finnish language, Finnish for "Pori Stoat, Ermines") was a multi-sport club based in Pori, Finland. The club was founded in 1932, and disestablished in 1960, but was re-established again in 1990 and disestablished in 2011. Kärpät had sections in ice hockey, association football, football, bandy, rinkball, handball, and basketball. Ice hockey Porin Kärpät established its place in the Suomen sarja, the 2nd level of ice hockey, in the 1950s. In the 1956–57 season, Kärpät won their group and advanced to the SM-sarja qualifiers.
