Futebol Clube de Goa is an India, Indian professional association football, football club based in Fatorda, Goa, that competes in the Indian Super League (ISL), the top tier of Football in India, Indian football. The club was established on 26 August 2014. Nicknamed as ''Gaur, Gaurs'', the club plays their home matches at the Fatorda Stadium in Margao. FC Goa is one of the most successful clubs in the ISL history, being the first ISL Club to qualify for AFC Champions League Elite. Gaur
The gaur (''Bos gaurus''; ) is a large bovine native to the Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia, and has been listed as Vulnerable species, Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List since 1986. The global population was estimated at a maximum of 21,000 mature individuals in 2016, with the majority of those existing in India. It is the largest species among the wild cattle and the Bovidae. In association football, a penalty shoot-out (previously known as kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a tie (draw), draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as Overtime (sports)#Association football, extra time (if used) has expired. For example, in a FIFA World Cup, penalties are used in elimination matches; the round of 32, the round of 16, the quarter-finals, the semi-finals, and the final (competition), final. 2019 Indian Super Cup
The 2019 Super Cup (also known as the 2019 Hero Super Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the second edition of the Super Cup and the 40th season of the national knockout football competition in India. The competition was sponsored by Hero MotoCorp. The competition began with the qualifiers on 15 March at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneshwar and was concluded with the final on 13 April.
