FC Barcelona Bàsquet B (English: FC Barcelona Basketball B), commonly referred to as FC Barcelona B () and colloquially known as Barça B (), is the reserve team of the FC Barcelona. The team currently plays in the Spanish 3rd-tier level LEB Plata. History In 2003, Barcelona B won the amateur Spanish 4th-tier level Liga EBA, and thus got promoted to the LEB 2 division, but afterwards, they renounced their spot. 2012–13 LEB Oro Season
The 2012–13 LEB Oro season was the 17th season of the Liga Española de Baloncesto, a Spanish basketball league. It was named Adecco Oro as its sponsored identity. The champion of the regular season would be promoted to Liga ACB. The teams between second and ninth position will play a best of five games play off, where the winner would be promoted too to the higher division. Competition format Eligibility of players All teams must have in their roster: * A minimum of six players who played in Spain during three season being between 15 and 20 years old. * A maximum of two non-EU players. The Spanish Basketball Federation ( es, Federación Española de Baloncesto; FEB) is the governing body of basketball in Spain. It is based in Madrid, Spain. Marc García (basketball)
Marc García Antonell (born 7 March 1996) is a Spanish professional basketball player for Fuenlabrada of the Liga ACB. He is considered one of the most promising young Spanish players of his generation. Professional career García came through the youth ranks of Bàsquet Manresa, before transferring to FC Barcelona B, where he spent his first senior season (2012–13). In the summer of 2014, he returned to Manresa on a loan deal, making his first steps in Spain's elite league ACB during the 2014-15 campaign. After one year with Manresa's men's squad, he headed back to Barca B, leading the team in scoring (16.2ppg) in the 2015-16 LEB Oro season. Mario Hezonja (; born 25 February 1995) is a Croatian professional basketball player for Real Madrid of the Spanish Liga ACB and the EuroLeague. He also represents the Croatian national team internationally. He was selected with the fifth overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft by the Orlando Magic. Junior career Hezonja was promoted to the club level in his native Croatia when he was 12 years old, and at the age of 13, he stayed for two seasons with Dubrovnik. The 2019–20 LEB Plata season was the 20th season of the Spanish basketball third league. It started on 21 September 2019 with the first round of the regular season and was curtailed on 25 May 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
