FBC Třinec
FBC Třinec (FBC Intevo Třinec after its sponsors) is a floorball club based in Třinec, Czech Republic. The team was founded in 2011. The women's team has been playing in the Extraliga žen ve florbale (the highest competition) since the 2023–24 season, to which they advanced for the first time in history in 2023. Among the team's greatest successes is the promotion to the quarterfinals of the Pohár Českého Florbalu in 2022. The men's A team play in the third highest competition Národní liga, from the 2023–24 season, to which they were first promoted in 2023. History The club was founded in 2011, when in its first ever season it entered a women's team in the 2nd league (the 3rd highest competition in the Czech Republic). Sports Hall STARS Třinec
Sports Hall STARS Třinec is a sports hall in Třinec, Czech Republic. The hall has a capacity of 900 spectators. The floorball club FBC Třinec uses it for its home matches, and other clubs in the vicinity from the 2023–24 season. It was used for home matches by the futsal club SKP Ocel Třinec, which, however, ceased its activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many various company events and balls are also held here. Description The hall has a capacity of 900 spectators, of which 400 can be seated, as well as a buffet. The hall also has 10 changing rooms and other facilities. The hall meets the parameters for the Livesport Superliga and ČEZ Extraliga. In 2013–2014, thanks to extensive reconstruction, the hall got a completely new look, the already inadequate facilities were modernized to meet today's demands. Extraliga žen ve florbale (also ČEZ Extraliga) is the highest league in the league system of Czech women's floorball and comprises the top 11 Czech floorball teams. Floorball (also known by other names) is a sport played with five players and a goalkeeper in each team. It is played indoors with sticks and a hollow plastic ball with holes. Třinec
Třinec (; ; ) is a city in Frýdek-Místek District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. Czech Open is an international floorball tournament. It takes place every year in August in Prague, Czech Republic. It is one of the largest floorball tournaments in the world. Every year over 200 teams from around the world participate. The first season was played in 1993. The tournament is organized by Prague floorball club Tatran Střešovice. There are seven categories in the tournament. Both men and women have three categories (Elite, Pro and Open) and juniors have one.
