Elisabeth Rehn
Märta Elisabeth Rehn (; born 6 April 1935) is a Finnish former politician and diplomat. She served as the Minister of Defence of Finland during 1990 to 1995 and as an Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations during 1998 to 1999. She was also a member of the Finnish Parliament and parliamentary leader of the Swedish People's Party of Finland, and a member of the European Parliament. Early life and education Rehn was born on 6 April 1935 in Helsinki, Finland. She spent her childhood in Mäntsälä, where her father worked as a community medical doctor. Rehn went to a local school in Mäntsälä before entering a boarding school in Kauniainen. Rehn received a master of science degree in economics from Hanken School of Economics in 1957 and has honorary doctorates in political science from both Hanken School of Economics and Åbo Akademi University and an honorary doctorate in military science from the National Defence University. The Minister of Defence ( fi, puolustusministeri, sv, försvarsminister) is a member of the Finnish Council of State. As the head of the Ministry of Defence, the minister is responsible for the administration of national defence. The ministry is headquartered in Helsinki. Uusimaa is a Finnish constituency represented in eduskunta. It covers the administrative region of Uusimaa, excluding the capital city of Helsinki, which forms its own constituency. Uusimaa elects 35 members to eduskunta, which makes it the largest electoral district in the country. Even though the city proper is not part of the constituency, much of the area falls under the Greater Helsinki metropolitan area. Jan-Erik Enestam
Jan-Erik Enestam (born 12 March 1947 in Västanfjärd) is a Finland-Swedish politician from the Swedish People's Party. He has a degree from the Åbo Akademi university in Turku. Enestam was the Municipal Director of Västanfjärd between 1978 and 1983 and a Project Chief at the Nordic Council of Ministers during the period 1983–1991. He was a member of Finland's parliament, the Eduskunta, from 1991 until 2007 and a member of the government between 1995 and 2006 in various posts. He led the Swedish People's Party from 1998 until 2006. He was succeeded by Stefan Wallin as leader at the beginning of 2007. Johan Ole Norrback (born 18 March 1941) is a Finland-Swedish politician and diplomat. Norrback was born in Övermark. He graduated as a primary school teacher in 1965 and was the ombudsman for the Sfp, Swedish People's Party in Ostrobothnia between 1967 and 1971, and ombudsman for the Swedish Ostrobothnia's Regional authority 1971 and 1989.
