Eşref Uğur Yiğit
Eşref Uğur Yiğit (born 1945) is a Turkish admiral. He was commander-in-chief of the Turkish Navy from 30 August 2009 to 29 July 2011. He is a holder of the Turkish Armed Forces Medal of Distinguished Service. In 2010, the Turkish 12th High Criminal Court accepted an indictment on a plot by some naval lieutenants to assassinate Turkish Naval Forces admirals, including Admiral Yiğit. Career He entered the Naval High School in 1959. He graduated from the Naval Academy in 1964. He worked as a branch officer and division supervisor in various ships of the Turkish Naval Forces. He studied at the Naval War Academy between 1975 and 1977. Eşrefpaşa
Eşrefpaşa is a popular and rooted neighborhood of İzmir within the metropolitan district of Konak (District), İzmir, Konak. It does not have an official status and delimitation and exists rather as a notion. Eşrefpaşa encompasses up to twenty officially constituted and densely populated quarters (''mahalle'') in the city's inner parts. It is admitted as a zone (''semt'') that extends along the two sides of the street of the same name, Eşrefpaşa Street (''Eşrefpaşa Caddesi''), about five kilometers long, which was opened by the marking mayor of İzmir, Eşref Pasha (administration between 1895-1907) in early 20th century. Ruşen Eşref Ünaydın (1892–1959) was a Turkish linguist, politician, journalist, diplomat, author, and scholar of writer. He contributed to '' Süs'', a women's magazine, between 1923 and 1924. Ragıp Eşref Filiz (born 1 June 1978) is a Turkish author and journalist from Istanbul, Turkey. Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba (born December 16, 1951, Birecik, Turkey) is a Turkish doctor and List of Turkish politicians, politician. He is the former mayor and deputy of Urfa, Şanlıurfa. Eşref Özmenç (30 January 1930 – 1 January 1990) was a Turkish international association football player, who most notably was a part of Beşiktaş J.K. squad between the late 1940s and 1950s. Eşref Kolçak (28 January 1926 – 26 May 2019) was a Turkish actor. Biography Eşref Kolçak was born in Russia. His father was Harun Kolçakoğlu, and his mother was of Russian descent, his family moved to Turkey, Erzurum when he was 5 years old. At the age of 14, his family moved to Istanbul. He studied at the Sultan Ahmet Arts Institute. In 1944, he appeared in his first play at the Atilla Review. In 1947, he made his film debut and went on to appear in over 180 films and series.
