La Piedad
La Piedad is a municipality located at in the north-west of the Mexican state of Michoacán, bordering Jalisco and Guanajuato and being the northernmost municipality in Michoacán. The municipal seat is the city of La Piedad de Cabadas. The original colonial name was San Sebastián. It is bordered by the town of Santa Ana Pacueco, Guanajuato. Both cities straddle the Lerma River. La Piedad's population was 106,490 inhabitants in the 2020 census (250,000 including its metropolitan area). The municipality has an area of 284.11 km² (109.7 sq mi). It is bordered by the states of Jalisco and Guanajuato. Club Deportivo Real Zamora is a Mexican football club that plays in the Liga Premier - Serie B, however, from 2019 to 2020 season, the club is on hiatus because the club is in a process to improve its facilities and aspire to a promotion to the Liga de Expansión MX.
