Emilija Redžepi (; born 15 July 1973) is a Kosovan Bosniak politician who is a member of the New Democratic Party, and serves as the Third Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo. Career Emilija Redžepi is a Bosniak from Kosovo. She has been critical of the lack of support for Bosniak affairs within Kosovo, speaking at a conference on the Day of Bosniak Community she supported teaching in Bosnian and upholding traditions. As well as being a Member of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, where she is a member of the New Democratic Party, she has spoken of external affairs, encouraging Bosnia and Herzegovina to abandon the requirements for Kosovans to have travel visas to cross the border. Her daughter was briefly kidnapped in 2015, which Redžepi perceived as a threat to be "careful what she is doing". Emilija Vileišienė
Emilija Vileišienė ''née'' Jasmantaitė (1861–1935) was a Lithuanian activist. Born to a noble family, she attended the Smolny Institute and lived with her older brother in Saint Petersburg and Caucasus. When her brother became severely ill, they moved to Vilnius (Wilno, Vilna) where Vileišienė met her husband Antanas Vileišis and became active in Lithuanian cultural life. She was an active member of various Lithuanian organizations, including the Lithuanian Mutual Relief Society of Vilnius, Society of Saint Zita for servants, cultural Rūta Society. During World War I, she was a board member of the Lithuanian Society for the Relief of War Sufferers and was particularly active in organizing relief for war refugees. After the war, she remained in Vilnius and continued active public life despite several arrests by the Polish government. Emīlija Veinberga
Emīlija Veinberga (14 December 1896 – 5 September 1989) was a Latvian Communist politician. She served as the Minister of Justice of the Latvian SSR from 1951 to 1959. She was the first female Minister of Justice in Latvian history, as well as the first woman to be full cabinet minister rather than a deputy minister. Emīlija Veinberga was born in Riga. She was trained as a nurse and worked in Moscow in Russia during the First World War. After the Russian Revolution, she became a party official of the Communist Party. Between 1925 and 1931, she was a party official in Turkmenistan. In 1928, she was appointed Judge for the Ashgabat. She thus became the first female judge in Turkmenistan. Emilija Spudaitė-Gvildienė (13 September 1887 – 2 July 1965) was a Lithuanian educator and politician. In 1920 she was one of five women elected to the Constituent Assembly, Lithuania's first female parliamentarians. She remained a member of parliament until 1927. Biography Spudaitė-Gvildienė was born in Topeliškės in 1887 into the family of a small trader. She was educated at Riga City School until 1902 and then Riga Krotova Gymnasium, graduating in 1908. The following year she moved to Lithuania and began teaching at a school in Žemaičių Kalvarija. During World War I she temporarily relocated to Moscow from 1915 to 1917, teaching in the Moscow Lithuanian School. After returning to Lithuania in 1918 she taught at gymnasiums in Šeduva and Pakruojis and founded women's associations in both towns. Biography Emīlija Šmite was permanent participant of first Latvian Women's Chess Championships in which she won several medals and has been very close to several times to win the title of Latvian Women's Chess Champion.
